Obituary of Earl Hobbs

Altamont - Mr. Earl Edward Hobbs, 80, of the Skymont Community passed away Saturday January 17, 2015. He is survived by his special friend, neighbor and caregiver, Anna Swaney; sisters, Mary Ellen "Toodie" Myers, Altamont, Mildred (Franklin) Johnson, Hubbard's Cove and Ruth Johnson, McMinnville; several nieces and nephews. He was born in McMinnville, Tennessee October 13, 1934 to Odie and Lyda Myers Hobbs who preceded him in death along with his infant sister, Mary Frances Hobbs; brothers, Delbert, Elmer and Billy Hobbs; wife, Grace Johnson Hobbs. He was a member of the Light House Bible Church in Viola, Tennessee. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ralph Springer, Bro. T.L. Smith and Bro.
