Alvin Seagroves, 68, passed away Monday February 9, 2015 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born in Tracy City, Tennessee on September 20, 1946 to Lawrence and Effie Mae Short Seagroves who preceded him in death along with his brother, Stanley Seagroves; sisters, Ruby, Edna and Fannie Mae Seagroves.
He is survived by his son, Brian Seagroves; sister, Willie Sue "Patsy" Kilgore; brothers, Curtis and Franklin "Gabe" Seagroves; several loving, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather Friday February 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Coalmont Cemetery for a graveside service officiated by Minister R. Wayne Bowman.
There will be no visitation. Arrangements By: Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee
