Tracy City - Mr. Charlie Nunley Jr., 77, passed away peacefully at his home Friday February 27, 2015. He was a US Navy veteran. He was born in Coalmont, Tennessee March 21, 1937 to Charles Nunley Sr. and Fannie Nunley who preceded him in death along with his sisters, Margaret, Gladys and Little Pete; brothers, Leslie, Jimmy, Dee, Phillip, John and William.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Janie Sanders Nunley; daughter, Beverly (John) Dixon; son, Bobby Joe (Angie) Nunley; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Andy Lockhart officiating with burial to follow in the Bonnie Oaks Cemetery. Military Honors will be given at the funeral home by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard. Visitation: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
