Obituary of Clayta Jean Richardson

Altamont - Mrs. Clayta Jean Richardson, 60, passed away Wednesday March 18, 2015 at the River Park Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Harold Slatton; half-sister, Lena Grace McLaughlin. She attended the Cumberland Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Everett Richardson; son, Ricky Huntley; mother, Abbie King Tate; sister, Juanita (Gerald) Rollins; brothers, Harold (Betty Joe) and Carl (Peggy) Slatton; mother-in-law, Hazel Richardson; sisters-in-law, Bertha Whitman and Marsha Knight; granddaughter, Haley Huntley; half-sister, Heidi (Frank) Caruso; half-brother, Scotty (Renee) Worley; several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, Alton Scruggs, Joe Sanders and Alex Rollins officiating with burial to follow in the Richardson Cemetery.
