Whitwell - Dorothy M. Thompson, 58, passed away at her home in the Pocket Community Thursday March 19, 2015. She was a true child of God and a LPN. She was born in Washington, DC on June 11, 1956 to Joseph Distreto and Mary Sherwood Woodcock who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Thompson; son, John Ford; daughters, Chris Newcomer, Jodi Thompson and Debbie Brown; sister, Laura Justice; brothers, Tim, Robbie, John and Tony Woodcock; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
