Gruetli-Laager - Mrs. Marie Nunley Shrum, 78, passed away Saturday March 21, 2015 at a Winchester, Tennessee Hospital. She was born October 27, 1936 to Arthur and Pearl Meeks Nunley who preceded her in death along with her son Dwayne Nunley; husband, John Shrum; brothers, Bo and Gene Nunley.
She is survived by her sons, Eugene (Heather) Nunley, Gruetli-Laager, Terry (Donna) Nunley, Palmer; sisters, Sheila (Brad) Nunley, Signal Mountain and Betty (Clark) Nunley, Altamont, Shirley (Billy) West, Lakeland, FL, Peggy (Edward) Tomasi, Martin, TN; brother, Gerald (Mary) Nunley, Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Chris, Tyler and Terry D. Nunley; nieces and nephews; father of her children, Ronnie Nunley.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Willard Griffin officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
