Coalmont - Mr. James L. "Jimmy" Winton, 68, of Cumberland Heights passed away Monday April 27, 2015. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on December 1, 1946 to James E. and Jean Jacobs Winton who preceded him in death along with his sister, Rhonda K. Marconi; brother, Gary Lynn Winton. He was a graduate of the University of Florida. He was a avid sportsman including golf and baseball.
He is survived by his son, Troy Winton and his wife Theresa of Knoxville; grandchildren, Delaney and Ramsey; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Ray Winton officiating with burial to follow in the Coalmont Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM - 8:00 Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
