Palmer - Mr. Leslie Clay Clemons, 85, passed away Wednesday May 20, 2015 at the Bridge Nursing Home in Monteagle. He was a US Army Veteran and Retired from the United States Air Force. He was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee on July 22, 1929 to James Benjamin and Rebecca Peeks Clemons who preceded him in death along with his son, Leslie Clemons; brothers, Bruce, Allen and William Clemons; sister, Theola Clemons
He is survived by his daughter, Carol Miller, Moreno Valley, California; brother, Roy Clemons, Reno, Nevada; sister, Wilma Morrison, Coalmont, Tennessee; grandchildren, Amy Tester, James Banks and Scott Reese; 4 great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Palmer Cemetery with Pastor Willard Griffin officiating and Military Honors. Arrangements by: Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
