Palmer - Mr. Mark Anthony Layne, 52, passed away Wednesday May 27, 2015 at the home of his mother in Griffith's Creek. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on October 11, 1962. He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Layne; half-brother, Lindel Layne; niece, Glenda White; special aunt, Patsy Perry.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Cox Layne; mother, Betty Jo Layne; sons, Tristan Anthony and Nicholas Cole Layne; brother, William (Diana) Layne; sisters, Patricia Ann "Sue" (Bill) Lake, Kathy (Charlie) Gholston and Jean Ghoslton (Dale Argo); a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Kevin Benoit officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
