Palmer - Mrs. Katherine Rebecca Quinn (Katie Potts Quinn), 72, passed away, Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Sheltering Arms Home in Palmer, Tennessee. She was born in Vienna, Illinois on January 6, 1943 to Joe and Bethel Simmons Potts who preceded her in death along with her husband, Jerry Quinn; sisters, Josie Marie Keeler, Helen Hollenger, June Buck, Mavie Rasmussen and Janie Potts.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Barton, Elgin, IL; sister, Audrey Combs, Mayflower, Arkansas; brothers, Rev. John (Annetta) Potts, Whitwell, TN and Joe (Gloria) Potts, Elgin, IL; grandchildren, Jerry Lynn and Doug "Pudge" Barton; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Monday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery in Vienna, Illinois on Wednesday July 29, 2015 with Bro. John Potts officiating.
