ALTAMONT - Mrs. Era Northcutt Pennell, 92, passed away October 21, 2015 at Presbyterian Homes, Evanston, IL. Beloved wife of John S. Pennell and mother of William Pennell, Jeffrey Pennell and Patricia Pennell Isaacson. Proud grandmother of David Pennell and Jay Cash. Fond sister of Halas, D.V. and Lyte Northcutt. Era will be remembered for her faithful church work, philanthropy, volunteer service and her love of flowers and gardening. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to the Wilmette Church of Christ.
A graveside memorial service will be held 2 PM Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Armstrong Cemetery in Northcutts Cove with Bro. Ray Winton officiating.
