Obituary of Herman Nolan

Palmer - Mr. Herman Nolan, 77, passed away at his home Saturday November 21, 2015 with his family at his side. He was a US Army veteran and was retired from the B & O Railroad and attended the Bivens Chapel Church. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on December 12, 1937 to Claude and Ruby Lee Haynes Nolan who preceded him in death along with his sisters, Margaret and Carolyn; brothers, Wes, Jim, Edward and Alvin Nolan. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Olamae Nolan; son, Gary Kent (Allison) Nolan; daughters, Sandra Kaye and Brenda Claudette Nolan; sister, Dorothy "Dottie" (Dennis) Sweeton; brothers, Marvin (Betty), Charleston (Elsie), Lecil (Carol), Carl (Kathy) and Tex Nolan; grandchildren, Kylee Jordan Nolan, Aaron Kent Nolan, Malena Woodward and Ethan James Woodward; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Berry Nolan and Bro. Larry Campbell officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery with Military Honors provoided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
