We will always be thankful for Joe Gray's impact on our lives. His passion for evangelism and missions impacted us greatly. His work with Project Good News was a positive influence on us and many others. We remember being in his packed Wednesday night college class at church on occasion. We praise God for His promises and pray for Harriette and each member of this special family. Our love to you all.

Dear Sweet Harriet; Linda, Joseph and Scott.I just learnt this week that our dear special friend and loved one had past away December. Please accept my belated and deepest heartfelt condolences. Dear Joe, my 'Father of the Gospel' was such a wonderful influence in my life and through him I believe my spot in Heaven is secure. To me Joe emulated Jesus Christ and I found it hard in the early days to separate the two of them; Joe embodied all the many characteristics and traits of our Lord and the two of them have sustained me even during the years 'in the wildeness'. My love to you all and my love for Joe will remain a constant reminder our souls will one day again rejoice together in Eternity through our faith in Christ.

I was a young child, perhaps about five or six years old (in the early 1950's) when Bro. Gray was the minister for the Bybee Branch congregation in McMinnville TN. I attended services at Bybee Branch with my Aunt Velma (Moffitt) Hutchings (who passed away this Dec 26th). Bro. Gray made such an impression on me that I have never forgoten him. I am grateful for Bro. Gray's work for our Lord here on Earth, and believe he awaits his reward in Heaven. May the Holy Scriptures and memories of Bro. Gray's life comfort his family.

" And that is dying. Henry Van Dyke
