Obituary of Roy Lynn Bouldin

Salt Lake City, Utah - Mr. Roy Lyn Bouldin passed away in Hospice care, in Utah on January 7, 2016. Roy was born April 14, 1950 to Willard and Cleo Richardson Bouldin of Beersheba Springs, Tennessee. Many years of suffering from progressive illnesses have come to an end. Those of us close to him are dealing with conflicting emotions: grief over his passing and relief that he is no longer suffering; but one thing is certain, we will miss him dearly. He is survived by his wife Karen Hansen Bouldin; 3 children, Joseph Randal Bouldin, Clinton Bouldin and Crissanne Madsen of Utah; 2 stepchildren, Brian Gilbert and Stephanie Heubi of Missouri; his surrogate sons, Israel and Talon Peterson; 16 grandchildren and great-children of Utah; brother, Kenneth (Glenda) Bouldin of McMinnville, Tennessee; 3 sisters, Yolanda Kay Thaxton, Silvia Jo McGee and Betty Sue Bouldin (Dewayne King); sister-in-law, Cathie Richardson; brother-in-law, Alton McGee, all of Beersheba Springs, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Kenneth Bouldin; brothers, James "Booskie" Bouldin and Raymond Richardson; sisters, Carolyn McGee and Ina Coffee. Roy’s wishes for direct cremation have been fulfilled. There will be 2 memorial services. The Utah service will be held Saturday, January 16th, 9:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville. The Tennessee services will be held at the Cumberland Baptist Church on John Richardson Road in Beersheba Springs, Saturday, January 16th at 2:00 p.m.
