Obituary of Charles Bailey Brooks

Coalmont - Mr. Charles Bailey Brooks, 76, of the Cumberland Heights Community passed away Tuesday February 2, 2016 at his home. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on March 26, 1939 to Charles Eugene Brooks and Christine Martin Brooks Reeves who preceded him in death along with his wife, Mary Tate Brooks. He was a US Army veteran, member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Altamont, Sewanee Lodge F & AM # 405 at Tracy City, OES #266 Tracy City Chapter and the United Auto Workers. He retired from Ford Motor Company. He is survived by his wife, Linda Geary Brooks; son, Timothy E. (Ada Kay) Brooks; daughter, Debra C. Brooks; step-daughters, Vicki (Jimmy Ray) Sanders, La-Nea (David) Fraker and Ada Kay (Tim) Brooks; grandchildren, Susan Brown (Allen Vaugh), James (Brittany) Givens, Ashleigh (Christian) Rich and Noah Dillon Brooks; great grandson, Noah Bailey Brown; step-grandchildren, Macey Parsons, Ned, Kevin, Mark, Michael, Jamey and Patrick Sanders; 6 step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Aaron Barrett, Jody Campell and Russell Ladd officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery.
