Obituary of Roy Wayne Nunley

Tracy City – Mr. Roy Wayne Nunley, 63, of the Flat Branch Community, passed away at his home, April 2, 2016 with his family at his bedside. He was born in Tracy City on April 7, 1952 to Jessie Herbert and Nellie Lee Morgan Nunley who preceded him in death along with his brother, Larry Nunley; sister, Virginia Short. He was a retired truck driver with Tyson and attended the Gum Springs Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Pickett Nunley; brothers, Robert (Alphene), Charles (Francine) and Kenneth (Jackie) Nunley; sister, Leda Totherow; special caregivers, Tracy Anderson, Carolyn Nunley and Melissa Mosely; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Minsiters, Ernest Lockhart and James Caldwell officiating with burial to follow in the Bonnie Oaks Cemetery.
