Obituary of William Harold Kilgore

GRUETLI-LAAGER - William Harold "W.H." Kilgore, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a retired Coalminer and member , deacon and founder of Bibleway Holiness Church. He was born in Whitwell, TN on October 19, 1931 to Earl and Almeda Bone Kilgore who preceded him in death along with his sons, Kenneth Harold and Delbert Wayne Kilgore; sister, Margie Kilgore Doss; brothers, Herbert, Joe M. and Clarence Kilgore. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Grimes Kilgore; sons, Marvin Lee (Jannie) Kilgore of Lake Butler, FL and Danny Ray (Norma) Kilgore of Palmer; daughters, Betty Gail (Scott) Worsham, Raiford, FL and Lisa Carol (Tony) Troglin, Gruetli-Laager; daughters-in-law, Brenda Troxler Kilgore, Sandra Roberson Kilgore both of Gruetli-Laager; sister, Dorothy Kilgore Graham, Ringgold, GA; grandchildren, Michael, Mitchell (Betty), Jason (Becke), Lee (Laura), Sarah, Dustin and Rebecca Kilgore, Michell Orange, Angela (Shannon) Lang, Samantha (Lewis) Mabry, Betty and Sarah Parmley, Brittany Hunter, Kelly (Lisa) Gibbs; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and his extended family at Bibleway Holiness Church. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jeremy Robinson and Bro. Don Layne officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery. Visitation: 1:00 PM - midnight Tuesday and 9:00 AM - midnight Wednesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee
