Altamont - Mrs. Daisy M. Smartt, 69, died Monday April 30, 2012. She was Preceded in death by her parents, John Hershel Hardin and Louvenia Pruitt Hardin; brothers, Paul, Willie and Malcolm Hardin. She is survived by her husband, Ted Smartt; son, Timothy Glen Young; daughter, Melissa Gail Wright; sisters, Sharon Willeby and Pearl Mann; grandchildren, Coty "Rooster" Young and Iesha Neal; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Altamont Cemetery. Visitation: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee.
