Gruetli-Laager - Amos Sanders, 62, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010. He was born in Palmer on October 23, 1948 to Henry and Ethel Scott Sanders who preceded him in death along with his brothers, William B. "Pee Wee" and James H. "Jim" Sanders. He was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam, member of the American Legion and school bus driver for Grundy County. He is survived by his wife, Patricia King Sanders; son, Rodney A. (Natasha) Sanders; daughters, Cynthia (Steve) Nance, Dana M. (Scotty) Williams, Joeanna (Scotty) Partin and Brittany Sanders (Roger Layman); brother, Joe Sanders; sisters, Mary Cox and Lucille Clendenon; sisters-in-law, Judy and Janice Sanders; 14 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Ronnie Partin and Delbert Layne officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer City Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation: 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
