Beersheba Springs - Mrs. Mary Edith King, 84, passed away Wednesday, December 08, 2010. She was a member of Cumberland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Frances Tate Layne; son, Morris King; grandson, William Dewayne Fults; brother, Lewis "Butch" Seals. She is survived by her husband, Tony King; son, Jimmy King; daughters, Phyllis (Billy) Holt, Edna (Martin) Meeks and Glenda Wanamaker; sisters, Edna Yak, Sydney Church and Joann Fields; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Alton Scruggs officiating. Interment: Grace Chapel Cemetery. Visitation: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, TN.
