GRUETLI-LAAGER - Mrs. Netta June Tate Sanders, 84, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Sheltering Arms in Palmer after a lingering illness. She was a retired and beloved elementary school teacher, a lifelong member of St. Bernard's Episcopal Church and a member of the Eastern Star Tracy City Chapter #266 for over 50 years. She was born on December 15, 1927 to Roy Lee and Alma Brannon Tate who preceded her in death along with her husband J.W. Sanders; brothers, Rex, William and Samuel Tate; granddaughter, Audrey Willoughby. She is survived by her son, Kerry Brooke (Wanda) Sanders of Tracy City; great-grandchildren, Brandon (Brooke) Willoughby of Estill Springs, Amber (Gabriel) Carson of Fort Payne, AL; great-great-grandchildren, Brandalyn Brooke Willoughby and Jaron Guyear. The family would like to express special thanks to all caregivers at Sheltering Arms. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Father Clark Baker and Brother Danny Coffelt officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
