Obituary of Lillian Marie Brown

Coalmont - Lillian Marie Sweeton Brown, 87, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011. She was a member of the Sweeton Hill Congregational Methodist Church. Lillian was born in Coalmont on May 04, 1923 to Robert and Emma Dyer Sweeton who preceded her in death along with her sisters, Bernice Burnett and Betty Lou Sweeton; brother, Byron Sweeton. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James W. Brown; sister, Treva Brown, Chattanooga; a host of loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, John Potts and Clayton Jones officiating with burial to follow in the Coalmont Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Coalmont Cemetery Association, Coalmont, TN.
