PALMER - Mrs. Rose E. King, 75, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012. She attended Sweeton Hill Congregational Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar King; husband, Ernest King; sister, Margie Layne. She is survived by her sons, Ernest King, Jr. and David King; daughters, Gwendolyn Britton, Margaret (Henry) Williams, Carolyn (Doug) Hargis, Melissa King and Rhonda (Terry) Huston; sister, Betty Doss; aunt, Katherine Doss; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, Mike Rigsby and John Potts officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thursday and after 9:00 AM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
