Obituary of Don H. Simpson

Palmer - Don H. Simpson, 81, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011. He was born in Dawson, AL and was a sub-contractor for South Central Bell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Ruth McKinney Simpson; sisters, Reba Jones and Maxine Barker; brothers, Billy, Allen, Wallace and Jerome Simpson. He is survived by his wife, Judy Gail Hargis Simpson, Palmer, TN; daughter, Peggy (LaVonne) Ward, Rome, GA; son, Danny J. (Margaret) Simpson, Ackworth, GA; sister Jo Ann McKelvey, Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Mindy (Jimmy) Kikulski, Jeremy Ward, Tina Gentry, Christina Lane Spicer Simpson; 5 great-grandchildren; loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. John Potts officiating with burial to follow around 2:30 PM in the Fairview Cemetery in Dawson, AL. Visitation: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
