PALMER - Mrs. Carlene "Tootsie" Cannon Smith, 80, passed away Sunday, May 08, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie and Agnes Henley Cannon; sisters, Oma Lee Cleek and Martha Henley; brothers, Glen, Howard, Pete, Leon, Tony and Horace Cannon; husband, Rowland E. Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Jerrie Carla (Shane) Martin; sons, Tim (Audrey) Shrum and John Doug Shrum; grandchildren, Kyle (Christel) Shrum, Brandy (Wesley) Lusk and Jeremy (Whitney) Brown; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Carter, Kyndyl, Skylar and McKye; sisters, Nadene Meeks Ross and Vanova Cleek; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Tuesday with Bro. Larry Campbell officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer City Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM Monday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
