PALMER - Clara L. Henry, 76, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011. She was born in Palmer on July 12, 1935 to Will and Haley Kilgore Layne who preceded her in death along with her husband, Clarence E. "Red" Henry; sisters, Jewelldean, May and Odell Layne; brothers, Barney, Ernest, Clarence, James and Roy Lee Layne. She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte (Joe) Grimes, Sylvia (Odell) Hancock and Becky (Darrell) Layne; sister, Minnie Mathis; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Palmer City Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
