Obituary of Billy Price Dickerson

ALTAMONT - Mr. Billy Price Dickerson, 71, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011. He was a member of the Elk Head Church of Christ and a US Army Veteran. He had Been a Plant Manager for Robinson Manufacturing Company. He was born in Altamont on April 4, 1940 to Ame and Sallie Givens Dickerson who preceded him in death along with his brother, Henry Dickerson; sisters, Billie Jean Dickerson, Nell Gattis, Millie Stone and Marzee Childers. He is survived by his wife, Betty Nunley Dickerson; brother, John A. (Thelma) Dickerson; sisters, Marie Manning, Frieda McKnight, Nettie Lockhart and Marguerite Childers; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral Home chapel with Minister Charles Childers officiating with burial to follow in the Altamont Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee
