Obituary of J.D. Sanders

Altamont - Mr. J.D. Sanders, 59, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday October 1, 2011. He was retired from Carrier Corporation and was a US Army veteran. He was of the Independent Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his father, William Sanders. He is survived by his wife, Betty Smith Sanders; daughters, Kayla and Kimberly Sanders; mother, Ruby Marie Rollins Sanders; sisters, Dean (Wallace) Smith, Minnie (Stew) Galus, Katherine (Ronnie) Fults and Violet (Carlos) Norris. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Dal Barrett and Melvin Childers officiating with burial to follow in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Visitation: 12:00 Noon - 9:00 PM Monday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
