Altamont - Mrs. Mary Aleen Biggers, 84, of Chico, California, passed away in her sleep there Tuesday Evening October 4, 2011. She was the daughter of James Herman "J.H." Tate and Hettie Cecil Knight Tate of Altamont. She owned and operated Fosters' Freeze in Chico, California for over 43 years. She will be laid to rest along side her parents in the Fall Creek Cemetery at 1:00 PM CDT on Sunday, October 9, 2011 in Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee. Arrangements by: Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
