PALMER - David Michael Layne, 51, passed away Sunday, October 09, 2011 in a ATV accident. He was born in Hammond, IN on April 23, 1960 to Scottie and Judy Taylor Layne. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ike and Lillie Fults Layne, Emory and Esther Daniel Taylor. He is survived by his parents, Scottie and Judy Layne; daughters, Maranda Hill and Amanda James; brother, Dewayne Layne; sister, Donna Stoglin; companion, Janice Franklin; grandchildren, Dillian Michael-Lee James, Haley Michelle James and Candice Renee Hill. Funeral services will be 4:30 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Joe Sanders and R.B. Slatton officiating with burial to follow in the Swiss Colony Cemetery. Visitation: 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM Wednesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
