GRUETLI-LAAGER - Jack Thomas, 64, died Wednesday evening October 19, 2011 at his home. He was born on September 29, 1947 to Hamp and Tressie Meeks Thomas who preceded him in death along with his brother, William Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Mary Bivens Thomas; daughters, Sally Thomas, Kim Layne and Anna Cleek; sons, Michael Borne, Jay Thomas and Jackson T. Thomas; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 12 sisters; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Delbert Layne officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
