PALMER - Linda R. McDaniel, 68, passed away Tuesday October 25, 2011. She was born in Palmer on July 27, 1943. She was a member of the Gruetli-Laager First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Hurl G. Ruehling; daughter, Linda Lee "Peebles" McDaniel; brother, Hurl Douglas Ruehling. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Willie Woodlee Ruehling; sister, Penny Ruehling; sister-in-law, Lynda Borne Ruehling; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby (Brenda), Danny (Martha), Johnny (Vivian) and Ricky (Vicki) Ruehling; a host of loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Cary Gomer officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN
