Obituary of Elsie E. Campbell

ALTAMONT- Mrs. Elsie Ethelene Fults Campbell, 97, passed away Wednesday, November 09, 2011 at her home. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Altamont Ward. She was born in Altamont on November 06, 1914 to Albert and Margaret "Maggie" Gross Fults. She married Stanley Edward Campbell, Sr. who preceded her in death along with her sons, Stanley Edward, Jr., Jackie and Jimmy Campbell; grandsons, Phillip Campbell and Justin Curtis; great-grandson, Jackie Whitman; great-granddaughter, Tori Cash; daughters-in-law, Christine and Ilene Campbell; grandson-in-law, John Lind; brothers, Bob, Jay, Floyd and Ray Fults; sisters, Estelle Killian, Flora Butner, Mae McGee, Hazel Smartt, Mabel Campbell and Myrtle Fults. She is survived by her sons, Earl David (Brenda), Larry (Treva) and Barry (Linda) Campbell; daughters, Margaret Byars, Wilma (Marcus) Smartt, Linna (Russell) Ladd, Janice (James) Hall, Sharon (James) Curtis, Patricia Mitchell and Sheila (Bob) Pope; daughter-in-law, Gail Campbell; brother, Mack Fults; 38 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way; special friends, Greg Lee and Don Johnson from Utah. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at LDS Church with Bishop Aaron, Gregory Curtis and Keith Fults officiating with burial to follow in the Fults Cemetery. Visitation: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee.
