ALTAMONT- Mr. Kenneth L. Thompson, 87, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII. He worked as a meat cutter of Swift Company and in various other grocery stores. He was born in Saranac Lake, NY on July 04, 1924 to John and Margaret Willette Thompson who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Leon Thompson and Joseph Thompson. He is survived by his sons, Allan (Charlotte) Thompson and Lee Thompson both of Altamont, TN and a sister, Carol LaFountian of TX. Cremation was chosen. There will be no services. Arrangements by Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, TN.
