WHITWELL - Mrs. Katheleen Hallman, 79, of the Griffiths Creek Community, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith. She was born on May 04, 1932 to Fred and Bertha Fults Slatton who preceded her in death along with her sister, Ruby Shrum; brother, Robert Slatton; son, Marty L. Kilgore, Jr.; grandson, Edward McHone, Jr.; great-grandson, Trevor Jordan Kilgore. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Hade) Rogers; sons, Edward (Betty) McHone and Christopher Joe Kilgore; brother, Fred (Hallie) Slatton, Jr.; sister, Donna Farmer; grandchildren, Thomas (April) McHone, Melinda (Scotty) Sweeton, Lisa Kilgore and Alex (Jaime) Kilgore; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Samantha, Akia, Dray, Ayla, Madison and Ayleea; a host of loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, Raymond Bryant, Jeremy Robinson and Ronnie Partin officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer City Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thursday and 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
