Gruetli-Laager - Mr. Sammy Charles Morrison, 56, died at his home Monday, July 23, 2012. He was a US Army veteran. He was born in Altamont on July 3, 1956 to Lonnie and Ethel Turner Morrison who preceded him in death along with his sisters, Mary Louise Morrison, Eula Mae Gardner, Charlene Cobb and Lynn Morrison; brother, Jerry "Sonny" and Larry Morrison. He is survived by his brothers, Robert L. (Delores) Morrison and Allen (Linda) Morrison both of Gruetli-Laager; sister, Dollie (Bob) Reed, Clinton, Iowa.
At his request he was cremated and his ashes scattered. There will be no service. Arrangements by: Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
