Coalmont – Mr. George Damon Walters, 61, passed away Monday May 23, 2016 at his home. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 14, 1954. He was employed by Exceptional Enterprise and Save A Lot. He was preceded in death by his father, William Roger Walters; mother, Earlene Cox Shrum.
He is survived by his daughters, Veronica (Ben) Banks, Paris, TN and Dana Walters, Monteagle, TN; brother, Charlie (Teresa) Shrum; sisters, Freda (John) Burnett, Claudette (James) Nolan and Brenda Bivens, brother-in-law, Don Bivens; grandson, Declan Banks.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
