ALTAMONT - Mr. Alvin T. Schoenmann, 83, passed away at his home Friday, June 24, 2016. He was born August 24, 1932 to Walter and Annie Mai McCarver Schoenmann who preceded him in death along with his daughters, Mary Jean Schoenmann Blair and Karen Parsley; grandson, Billy Jacob Walker; brothers, Walter Douglas and Elmer Schoenmann; sister, Imogene Disheroon Woodlee.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Barbara Seibert Schoenmann; sons, Glenn, David (Sheila), Walter and Daniel Schoenmann; daughters, Elizabeth Bouldin, Patricia (Matt) Barks and AnnieMae (Billy) Walker; granddaughter, Breanna Rose Wilder and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 6:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Willard Griffin officiating with Cremation following. Visitation will be 2:00 PM until time of service on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee
