Obituary of Danny Lee Layne

Gruetli-Laager – Mr. Danny Lee Layne, 57, passed away Friday July 1, 2016 at the Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on January 24, 1959 to Claude and Loretta Smartt Layne who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Tammy McDaniel Layne; daughters, Dana Wideman, Palmer, Amanda (Evan) Smith, Chatsworth, GA; Jani (Donnie) Slatton and Crystal McDaniel; sisters, Claudette Caldwell and Gayle (Mark) Green; grandchildren, Gage, Matt, Kaylee, Hannah, Haeli, John, Aiden and Drayten; grandmother, Martha Smartt; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Raymond Borne officiating with burial to follow in the Swiss Colony Cemetery.
