Obituary of Geneva Etta Conry

Beech Grove – Mrs. Geneva Etta Conry, 86 died Wednesday September 21, 2016 at her home with her family at her side. She was born in Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee on October 29, 1929 to Warner and Annie Layne Layman who preceded her in death along with her first husband, Orvill Meeks after his death she married Charles Edward Conry who also preceded her along with her sons, Jimmy and Bobby Meeks; daughters, Jan Meeks and Chris Bray; sisters, Jeanetta Scroggins and Odell Childers; brothers, Hurl, Gene, Everett and Ralph Layman. She is survived by her sons, Chuck Conry, Howell (Cindy) Meeks, Bruce (Wanda) Meeks, Chuck Conry Jr. (Carolyn Bouldin); daughters, Kay Anderson (Wayne Moore) and Lisa Casady; brother, Millard (Betty) Layman; sisters, Ann Underhill, Annetta (Ernie) Turner and Helen Sanders Borne.; a host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Clayton Jones officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery.
