Obituary of Eddie Hobbs

Gruetli-Laager- Mr. Eddie Leon “Buddy” Hobbs, age 66, passed away surrounded by his family at the Haven of Rest facility in Tracy City. Mr. Hobbs was born September 9, 1950 in Palmer to Leonard Hobbs and Polly Johnson Hobbs who preceded him in death. Survivors include, daughter, Paulina Hobbs; step-daughter, Dedra Smartt; step-sons, Michael and Markus McBee; sisters, Margaret Gilliam, Anna Faye Hobbs, and Joyce Layne; seven grandchildren; great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews also survive. Special Cousin and friend, Clarence Sanders In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Judith Coffelt Hobbs and two nieces. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with visitation: 1:00 PM until time of service Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
