Obituary of Wanda Sue Porter

Palmer – Mrs. Wanda Sue Porter, 76, passed away, Friday December 30, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. She was born in Heltonville, Indiana on July 17. 1940 to Willard E. and Bessie W. Owens Utterback who preceded her in death along with her husband, Elmer D. Porter. She was a former member of the Silverdale Baptist Church and currently attended the First Baptist Church of Gruetli-Laager. She was very active at the Gruetli-Laager Senior Center. She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Alvin) Long, Palmer; sons, Brent (Sabrina) Porter, Rockvale, TN and Kent (Cindy) Porter of Bon Aqua, TN; sister, Martha (Joe) LuAllen, Bedford, IN; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday January 2, 2016 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Cary Gomer officiating with burial to follow in the Silverdale Cemetery in Chattanooga.
