Obituary of James Darrell Sanders

Coalmont – Mr. James Darrell “Dirty” Sanders, 61, died unexpectedly Monday January 2, 2017 at the Hospital at Sewanee. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on May 3, 1955. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ernest “Sham” Sanders; daughter, Misti Sanders; nephew, Patrick Sanders; granddaughter, Taylor Wockasen. He was owner of Darrell’s Auto Parts in Coalmont being in business for almost 31 years. He is survived by his wife, Valerie Burrows Sanders; mother, Allie Jean “Shorty” Worley Sanders; daughters, Candace (Clayton) Geary; Tonya (Tony) Wockasen and Alex (Christopher) Rhea; brother, Danny (Betty) Sanders; grandchildren, Chelsi, Connor, Carson, Lauren, Emma, Tyler, Trenton and Stanley; great granddaugher, Eliza; niece, Holly and her son Aaden. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Dennis Rollins officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery.
