Obituary of David Arthur Tate

Gruetli-Laager – Mr. David Arthur Tate, 55, died suddenly Wednesday January 4, 2017 in Houston, Texas. He was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on November 28, 1961 to Joe David Tate and Joy Carole Beam who preceded him in death. He was employed by SEYI America in Tullahoma and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. David loved music and had played in several bands over the years. One of his favorites was a band called Big Creek. He is survived by his wife, Julia Tate; son, Benjamin (Ashleigh) Williams, Tracy City; daughters, Stefanie Mosley, Dickson, TN, Tabitha (Josh) Adcox, McMinnville, Katherine (Cody) Vanlith, South Saint Paul, MN and Crystal (Brandon) Patterson, Mineral Bluff, GA; brothers, Michael Tate, Adairsville, GA and James (Raven) Tate, Surprise, AZ, Gary Tate, Gruetli-Laager; sister, Carolyn (Danny) Ford, Bossier City, LA; 10 grandchildren. Memorial funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday January 13, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Military Honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
