Obituary of Larry Dean Layne

Gruetli-Laager – Mr. Larry Dean Layne, 67, died Sunday January 15, 2017 at the Waters of Winchester nursing home. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on May 6, 1949 to Joe Thomas Layne and Elsie Aline McHone Layne Turner who preceded him in death along with his daughter, Rebecca Gail Layne and his brother, Danny Joe Layne. He was a 6 year veteran of the United States Air Force and worked at Industrial Finish Materials in Detroit, Michigan then retired back to Tennessee. He is survived by his brothers, Crandle Layne, Coalmont, Craig (Sandra) Layne, New Baltimore, Michigan and Curtis (Karen) Turner, Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Military Honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard and Pastor Willard Griffin officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery.
