Obituary of Leatrice Joy Ashby

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Leatrice (Lea) Ashby, 88, on January 31, 2017 at her home in Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee. A graveside service will be at 1 pm, on Thursday, February 2, 2017, at Swiss Colony Cemetery. Lea was born in Vernon, Texas, on March 22, 1928 to Floyd and Bea Wright. She is survived by her daughter Linda Ashcraft, grandson Jason Ashcraft, granddaughter Tami (Ashcraft) Freitas and husband Don, great grandson Richie Freitas, her great granddaughter Destiny (Nunley) Noe and husband A.J. Noe, great grandson Teron Nunley, great great grandsons Izaiah and Joshua Noe. Her sisters Sue Herzik and Beverly Leonard of Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband Y.B. Ashby, parents, brothers, Wayne, Weldon and Joe Wright and her sister Claudine Martin.
