Obituary of Bennie Frances Stewart

Beersheba Springs – Mrs. Bennie Frances Stewart, 87, passed away Sunday March 19, 2017 at the Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on September 16, 1929 to Marcus and Robbye Hobbs Hill who preceded her in death along with her husband, William A. “Bill” Stewart; daughter, Bennie Clara Stewart; brother, Joe C. Hill; sisters, Ruby Willie, Louise Burke, Anita Thomas, Sadie Russell and Mary E. VanHorne; niece, Nancy Perry. She was a member of the Cumberland Baptist Church in Beersheba Springs, Tennessee. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Bloodworth; brothers, Marcus and Ronald Hill; step-children, R.J. and Bill Stewart, Alice Anderson of Texas ; grandchildren, Shally and C.J.; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Alton Scruggs officiating with burial to follow in the Hunerwadel Cemetery.
