Obituary of John A. Creighton

Palmer – Rev. John A. Creighton Jr., 83, passed away Monday March 20, 2017 at his home with his wife at his side. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on April 1, 1933 to John A. and Mable Hobbs Creighton who preceded him in death along with his brother, Jack Creighton; sister, Betty Coffelt. He was a member of the Faith Missionary Acadamy Church in Gruetli-Laager. Junior was retired from the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad. He is survived by his wife, Sue Pocus Creighton; sisters, Patsy (Kelly) Higgins and Carol (Lecil) Nolan; brother, Bob (Pat) Creighton; special great nephew, Garrett Meeks; special niece, Jobina Pocus and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, Stacy Smith and Johnathan Graham officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery.
