Obituary of Wavie Lillie Mae Cagle

Gruetli-Laager – Mrs. Wavie Layne Cagle, 77, passed away Thursday June 29, 2017 at the Bridge Nursing Home in Monteagle. She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on July 13, 1939 to Frank and Gertrude Layne who preceded her in death along with her husband, Billy Ray Cagle; son, Donny Cagle; brothers, Henry and Harvey Layne.

She is survived by her daughter, Louise (Kenny) Johnson, Monteagle; sons, Carlise (Kelly) Cagle, Monteagle and Wade (Stacey) Cagle, Gruetli-Laager; sisters, Mazie Perry and Gladys Layne both of Palmer; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday at the Bibleway Holiness Church with Ministers Jeremy Robinson and Don Layne officiating with burial to Follow in the Swiss Colony Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Friday at the Church. www.laynefuneralhome.com
