Obituary of Ronnie Dwayne Layne

McMinnville – Mr. Ronnie Dwayne Layne, 66, passed away Tuesday July 18, 2017 at the Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro with his family at his bedside.  He was born on December 29, 1950 to Robert Earl Layne Sr. and Clara Odell Layne who preceded him in death along with his wife, Karon Layne; infant son, Troy Dwayne Layne; brother, Robert Earl Layne Jr.

He is survived by his son, Jared Dwayne Layne; daughter, Wendy Layne; brothers, Richard (Teresa) Layne and Roger (Kathy) Layne; sisters, Willene (late Joe) Layne, Linda (Gene) Sulfridge and Sherry (late Robert) Meeks; grandchildren, Tre’anna, Annaya, Jania and Kjay Layne, Jalen Christian and Kylan Layne Pickett; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Minster Clayton Jones officiating with burial to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Wednesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
